Verdict

BOX OFFICE is preferred to Fastnet Storm and Prize Point. The last named merits respect given his stable's good form and the ability that he showed last year but he's far from certain on paper to be suited by a mile and others may see out this trip better. One of those is Box Office who stepped up on the form of his first two runs to gain a maiden success at Leicester in October. The form of that race hasn't worked out all that well thus far although the second won his next start impressively and the principals could turn out to be useful and his initial mark should certainly be workable. Fastnet Storm gained plenty of experience last term and held on gamely to win a nursery at Pontefract on his final start; he's versatile with regard to underfoot conditions and his pedigree suggests that he should continue to progress this season. Big Apple Boy is another that has to conclusively prove that he sees out this trip after three runs at six but he shapes as though it won't be a problem but this could prove to be a tough enough return to action. Geneva Geyser remains open to improvement and is another to note but we'll side with Box Office.
