Som Tala gets the confident vote in this staying race with Thewhirlingdervish and Mirjan rating the main dangers. The selection has been running in the top staying races this season and was a fair seventh behind Desert Sea last time out. This looks easier and under conditions that suit off what looks a fair mark he looks the one to be on. Thewhirlingdervish rates the main danger but he was behind the selection last time out and although a pound better off at the weights he still has a little to find. Mirjan has dropped to a handy mark but his best form is with more cut in the ground and he is taken on with this in mind.
