In depth

Verdict

Harrison's Star probably has the best form among those to have raced previously, having found just one too good at Sedgefield last time but George Moore's gelding is nothing out of the ordinary and it may be worth taking a chance with hurdling newcomer HOUSTON DYNIMO, who gets the vote with another newcomer Woody Waller looking the main threat. The selection showed a decent level of form on the flat for Kevin Prendergast in Ireland and, sure to have been well schooled by Nicky Richards, he may be too classy for his rivals today. Tim Walford's Banquet is going the right way on the level and could be of interest first time over timber, while Keith Reveley's Cashmere Jack may need more time after just two starts on the level. Woody Waller was capable on the flat from limited opportunities and has to be respected from the in-form Howard Johnson stable but it is Houston Dynimo that gets the verdict.
