Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute's stable has been responsible for the winner of this for the last four years so Eleanora Duse is an obvious starting point. She didn't appear to get home over 1m4f on a couple of occasions last season but won 1m2f contests at Newbury and the Curragh and is likely to be fully primed ahead of her reappearance. But, under a penalty, we're taking her on with MIRROR LAKE who proved tremendously impressive last year after winning an all-weather maiden. She found only Red Badge too good when upped to this grade at Goodwood in September and can earn herself some black type here. Field Day beat Chachamaidee in a Listed race at Ascot last July and may be the pick of the remainder, though some form lines suggest she's closely matched with Contredanse who finished ahead of Pachattack in a Grade 1 fillies' race in Canada in October.
