Fire Fighter is improving with experience and made all to land an Epsom maiden a couple of weeks ago. But it will be a surprise if he can hold off several potential improvers in this including the Godolphin pair Emirates Galloper and Snow Squall. Both made winning starts and are entered in next year's Derby, and the latter was particularly impressive at Haydock. However, SHIFTING POWER also made a favourable impression when beating 15 rivals at Sandown and looks a really nice two-year-old. He's in both the Champagne Stakes and the Royal Lodge so the Hannons obviously rate him highly. Treaty Of Paris won by five lengths at Pontefract but may struggle in this.
