Verdict

The drop back to seven furlongs should suit PUNCH DRUNK and she gets the nod over Calahonda and Dream In Waiting. James Given's filly wandered all over the shop last time at Doncaster when she almost hit the front a furlong out. She drops back to seven here with the feeling that the eighth furlong may have meant she was at the end of her tether and with jockey Rosie Jessop claiming a valuable 7lb, she can go well at a price. Dream In Waiting, Brierty and Calahonda all come here on the back of wins, and the most interesting of those looks to be Dream In Waiting. The way that she quickened up last time in a decent nursery was impressive and she fully deserves her 8lb rise in the weights. Feeling Fab is consistent and should be in the firing line throughout, whilst It's Toast and Bobbie Soxer need to get over average recent runs. A good opportunity it appears for Punch Drunk to return to winning ways.
