In depth

Verdict

Intimidate was a 25/1 chance when catching the eye on his debut at Leicester where he looked in need of the experience. Club House was the same price on his opening run behind the speedy Mister Marc at Goodwood and showed plenty of potential. He can go well here but the winner's stable is represented by Pearly Acclaim, a 35,000gns foal who made 165,000gns as a yearling and is the second foal of a mare who has already produced a winner. He'll be fancied to make a winning start but a chance is taken on BRAZEN as he's a half-brother to six winners, mostly sprinters, and Frankie Dettori is an interesting booking. Sejalaat has a very speedy pedigree being a half-brother to juvenile winner Nassem Sea and anything John Dunlop runs this early is worth noting.
