    Verdict

High Point has proved a model of consistency this term and is taken to come out on top while Bollin Thomas, Bobsleigh and Bid For Fame rate the main dangers. Gerry Enright's charge was notching his third win of the current season when coming late on the scene to score over a mile-and-three-quarters at Sandown last month. The five-year-old showed plenty of courage to assert his authority in the closing stages at the Esher venue and should prove capable of defying a 7lb rise with the return to two miles certain to suit. Bollin Thomas is another who will appreciate the step up to this trip after coming from well off the pace to score at Doncaster last time. However, this represents a fair step up in grade and may prove vulnerable off a 6lb higher mark. Bobsleigh was far from disgraced in the Ascot Stakes last time and has to be feared of a similar mark while Bid For Fame was below his best last time but comes in to the reckoning on his earlier second over this trip at Newbury in April.
