    In depth

    Formwatch

Indian Plume Looked as if running into form last time out and can carry big weights, however loves to force the pace and may find it difficult to dominate in a field of this size.

Glory Quest (USA) Largely consistent last term but looks a little high in the weights for what he has actually achieved.

Hail The Chief Another who may find life hard if taken on for the lead and others preferred.

Honest Borderer A frustrating type who is best on a sound surface, however has the ability to go close but may be better suited to slightly smaller fields.

Iron Mountain (IRE) Tough campaigner who needs a strong pace, any cut in the ground would play into his hands.

Topton (IRE) Needs fast ground and a good pace to bring the best out of him and is in good form at present, one to consider if the ground does not turn against him

Quantum Leap Looks to have a hard task in front of him stepped back up in trip here and is best watched.

Zanay Taken a long time to translate from the All Weather but shown signs of hitting form lately, however overall profile gives him a bit to find.

Night Sight (USA) Consistent sort but has been found wanting in the closing stages

Silk St John Very genuine type who likes to come late, best with some cut in the ground.

Grand Bahamian (USA) Consistent efforts for Jeremy Noseda last term but has along absence to overcome and is best watched.

Taffs Well As always will need everything to go his way but not without a chance if the gaps come.

Bold Raider In fine form at the moment and would not be inconvenienced should the rain arrive, should be on the short-list.

Arpeggio Should find trip and going no problem but over all profile not convincing.

So Tempting Lightly raced and comes here in good form, pedigree is a mix of pace and stamina so is one to keep an eye on for the future.

Sudra Consistent, however may be better over seven furlongs.

Derryquin Paid the price for a good run last season and could fare better when dropped a few pounds

Nomore Mr Niceguy On a long losing run and has done little of late to suggest a change.

Compradore Does stay a mile but best efforts have been back at seven furlongs, others preferred.

Khaled (IRE) Best watched on reappearance.
