      Verdict

Custom Cut is penalised for last year's Group 2 win at Leopardstown but has won over today's trip before. Dutch Connection steps up in distance on his return though last year's win in the Jersey Stakes at Ascot and his second in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat is arguably the best form on offer. AIR PILOT (NAP) ran as well as could be expected when fifth in the Champion Stakes here in October behind Fascinating Rock and landed a Group 3 earlier. Ralph Beckett's yard remains in fine form and his charge is also preferred to the likes of Mahsoob and Tullius on today's terms with the remainder facing an even tougher task at the weights.
