Hard to be dogmatic in such an open affair but ABERGAVENNY is interesting towards the foot of the weights. Brian Ellison seems to have freshened him up with a couple of easy wins over the jumps and, with fitness assured, he should give a good account. Trip and ground will suit. Mark Johnston fires a triple salvo with Herostatus of greatest interest, being the least exposed and with Frankie Dettori booked. He'll go well if ready for his return to action. Cosmic Sun and High Office arrive off the back of last-time victories and represent a powerful challenge from the Fahey team, whilst Kazbow certainly needs a market check. He looked progressive last term before having his season truncated in midsummer and could have got in here off an attractive mark.
