Some progressive young stayers clash with narrow preference afforded to PARLOUR GAMES. The Godolphin colt landed what may turn out to be a very decent Nottingham maiden last back-end and stayed on powerfully to claim the spoils over 1m 3f at Kempton on his reappearance. He looks to be on a fair mark and appeals as a progressive sort who should maintain his improvement curve. Hawaafez was beaten at odds-on last time but was pitted in against her elders and is now back against her own age group. She will also appreciate the step-up in trip. Glencadam Gold may have a quirk or two but has certainly shown sufficient to merit shortlist inclusion, whilst Whiplash Willie and Cry Fury add spice to an interesting contest.
