Verdict

Four-year-olds have won the last six renewals and SHAOLIN can keep the run going. Seamus Durack's charge has done all of his winning so far on Polytrack but has gone close several times on Turf and still doesn't look badly treated. Until Midnight has also been in good form on the all-weather lately, though at a lower level than the selection. Evident is lightly raced but hasn't raced since October and Smokethatthunders struggles to get his head in front. Illustrious Prince has been dropped a pound since his third at Doncaster and looks the pick of the remainder.
