Verdict

Aeolus was a bit unlucky in the European Free Handicap over course and distance last month and was only beaten half-a-length. His second to Night Of Thunder in a Listed race at Doncaster in October has turned out to be very smart form but PARBOLD has every chance of reversing recent course running as Richard Fahey's charge is greatly favoured by the weights today. He gets the nod though Toofi could be a bit of value as, though he has a few pounds to find on the form book, there was a lot to like about his run in a valuable sales race here last month and he might have won had he not met interference when beginning his challenge. The fillies Alutiq and Dorothy B are becoming disappointing and Coulsty may need this but Brazos won an Ascot handicap last time and is worth another try in this grade.
