Verdict

A 4lb rise for another comfortable win last time would suggest that BRANDYWELL BOY is far from done with yet and he is taken to complete a four-timer, while Alis Aquilae and Five Star Junior rate as the main dangers. The selection relishes fast ground and this minimum trip and when a sprinter is in form like this it really does pay to follow them. He has gone up a stone in the weights since a Bath win last month but we can see him adding to his burgeoning CV. Alis Aquilae won a Beverley maiden with a bit in hand last time, earning a mark of 75 for this. Fast ground suits and he looks capable of a good follow-up bid. Five Star Junior has put in some very solid efforts this season, among which he won an Ayr handicap over this distance. He remains on the same mark as when runner-up here last week and won't be far away. Osiris Way looks handicapped to the hilt, Sutton Veny is better over 6f, while Rocket Rob should be bang there but may again find one or two too good and we'll stick with Brandywell Boy.
