      Verdict

Normally a highly competitive event, this year's renewal looks to revolve around GHURAIR. Clear at the weights on today's terms, John Gosden's colt won the Tattersalls Millions Trophy for two-year-olds over 7f here in October and can record a lucrative double by taking this. Stablemate's Windhoek and Discernable are next best on official figures, although the former has been off the track for nearly a year and the latter has plenty to find with the selection. Richard Hannon bids for a hat-trick of victories in this event with Salisbury maiden winner, The Gatling Boy, and Sandown winner Havana Beat should also go well. Consign, Fehaydi and Greatwood are all winners on the Polytrack looking for a share of the prize money in this much tougher contest.
