Verdict

Quadriga and SHAISHEE set the standard but the former is making his seasonal debut so the latter is preferred with a recent outing over 7f at Lingfield under his belt. Charlie Hills' colt will have come on for that blowout and implied today's longer trip would suit when staying on well to claim the runners-up spot last time. Both Mr Fitzroy and Granell finished second at Goodwood and Newbury respectively last season and.showed enough to suggest they'd be winning races this year. That pair make more appeal than Arjawan and Bosham but Dawn Of Empire is related to a host of winners and could prove best of the newcomers.
