      Verdict

Dr Thong looks a progressive type and we'll take him against Place Cowboy and Ask The Clerk. Paul Cole's charge ran well enough on his handicap debut and has only been raised 1lb for a second placed effort behind Secret Place. Place Cowboy's effort at Brighton suggested that a step up to seven should not go amiss and Jamie Osborne's colt is another who comes here unexposed. He will have to reverse form with Ask The Clerk on this occasion. Pickle seems to handle any ground and will be staying on close home. She is against both sexes today so this represents a step up in class. Lord Of The Sea is dropped in trip while Compton's Eleven is watched in the market. We will side with Dr Thong to take first prize.
