Verdict

Several powerful yards have multiple entries in this with Godolphin fielding a trio of newcomers. Mickael Barzalona partners OUTSTRIP and the Exceed And Excel colt out of a US Grade 1 winner can overcome inexperience to make a winning debut ahead of Richard Hannon's Showpiece, who showed plenty of promise on his Newbury debut when well backed. Haayil will improve for his fifth at Haydock while breeding suggests Rainbow Rock will be the best of the Johnston pair. Anakaye is speedily-bred and also worth a second look.
