      Verdict

PLOTTING does not have the fanciest of pedigrees compared to some of these but she shaped with plenty of promise on debut and is taken to go one better today. The long shortlist of dangers includes Midday, Triple Cee, Act Green and Golden Stream. The selection only went down narrowly on debut at Doncaster in what appeared to be a fair maiden. She was held up and ran on well for second and whilst the first few home were close together, she can only have learnt from it. Black Nun and Dream Huntress have shown promise in two runs, whilst Midday was as green as grass on debut and will have learnt plenty from that Goodwood run. Multiplication is of interest from a strong stable and the market will help guide, but she may make up into a three-year-old whilst Triple Cee shaped as if not in love with the soft ground last time. Simplification needs to improve on her first run but that is likely and the stable have a fine book of juveniles once again. Golden Stream is beautifully bred but will probably be over-bet and she may need more time; possibly not as strong as the first division and Plotting can take the honours.
