Five of the last seven winners have been three-year-olds and MAYAASEM, the only entry from the younger generation, gets the nod to continue the trend. He's been running well in handicaps since landing a Pontefract maiden in April and still has scope for improvement. Saloomy has only had three runs this campaign and didn't appear to enjoy the soft ground at Lingfield after a fine effort on fast going at Haydock. He's an obvious threat while My Kingdom had Johnny Castle a couple of lengths behind when scoring here in June and is only 1lb worse off.
