Verdict

Just the five runners but a competitive race nonetheless with the top four in the weights all boasting strong credentials; HOME ADVANTAGE is, however, readily preferred. Pullyourfingerout will need to do just that if he's to land a blow in this company whilst Leader Of The Land has more on his plate than when finishing second at Windsor but could, conceivably, find further improvement for the fitting of cheekpieces. Trovare has appreciated being stepped up in trip and showed a good attitude to record his second success in his last three starts and can continue to progress. Reality Show made a winning handicap bow at Wolverhampton and can also continue to move forwards but it's been hard not to have been impressed by the performances of Home Advantage this summer. Roger Charlton's colt has had subsequent winners back in second on each of his last two starts suggesting that he may well be able to cope with an 8lb higher mark and complete his four-timer.
