    Verdict

Simon Dow's Seasonal Cross probably did not beat a great deal when winning at Bath earlier this month and she is likely to struggle off a 3lb higher mark today in a better race that is taken to go to NIGHT LILY, with Seradim rated the main danger. The selection has been in fine form this term with wins at Kempton and Lingfield on the Polytrack and back on turf at Thirsk two starts ago prior to just failing to get up at Windsor behind Crazy Chris last time and she can resume winning ways off just a 2lb higher mark today. Baylini is closely matched with Night Lily on Windsor form and should be thereabouts again, while Ela Gorrie Mou would probably want a bit of cut in the ground. The John Hills-trained Gobama has harshly gone up 9lbs for her recent win at Thirsk and of more interest may be Right Rave, who has won each of her last two starts narrowly and she may be one that the handicapper is struggling to assess. Paul Cole's Seradim ran much better at Goodwood last time and has been dropped 2lbs since then so she has to be respected but Night Lily is in really good heart at present and can resume winning ways.
