Verdict

Just one favourite has won in the last 10 renewals but Richard Hannon has won it twice in the past three years and HAVANA GOLD is likely to be the market leader this time. The son of Teofilo was very unlucky not to have won a Listed contest at Deauville last month where his saddle slipped when in command inside the final furlong. He didn't impress everyone when scrambling home over a mile at Haydock next time but this is probably his trip and he can go in again. Ebn Arab easily won a York maiden on his debut but couldn't make the step up to Group 3 company there last month and though Unsinkable is unbeaten he will have to do much better than his short-head victory over Tickle Time at Doncaster. Chilworth Icon has been running in most of the top juvenile races with distinction and isn't out of this despite his Group 3 penalty.
