Spellbind is a half-sister to Kentucky Derby hero Street Sense and is preferred to stablemate Gentle Breeze. Flippant looks first choice of her yard's two runners with Ryan Moore on board and Qawaasem represents last year's winning trainer. All of the above are worth noting for any support on their racecourse debuts but LAMAR's experience should stand her in good stead. She was in contention until fading in the final furlong over track and trip on her introduction and may have the edge with that run under her belt.
