A bit of a cavalry charge in prospect here, with Baltic King, Texas Gold, Halmahera and Boogie Street all holding claims, and we will side with Boogie Street to make his class tell. The selection is officially rated highest here and already has a 5f Listed win to his name at Kempton in May. A succession of decent efforts in Group company followed, and he ran well for a long way after a break when back in Group 3 company at Newbury last time, so he should be spot on for this. The faster ground suits him best and he has an excellent chance at these weights. Baltic King will be popular after a very comfortable win at Beverley last time and he can again go well. However, he has a bit to find at the weights with the selection strictly on the book. Texas Gold will relish the ground conditions and is another in decent form. He has shot up in the weights though after a recent reassessment and would probably prefer an extra furlong to be at his best. The same can be said of Texas Gold's Doncaster conqueror Halmahera, who is another with solid enough claims based on his best form, which he produced last time. However, he doesn't win that often and will find this race a tougher proposition, so he is just opposed. All in all a decent contest, and one that can be taken by Boogie Street.
