Verdict

JAN VAN HOOF is one of the least exposed and has been thereabouts of similar marks to today since winning over 6f on the July course here during the summer. He's worth a try over this longer distance and the lightly raced Foolaad also attempts 7f for the first time after a third at Nottingham. Until Midnight finished ahead of Realize when fourth at Ascot last time and can figure but Crew Cut has done all his winning over shorter trips so far. Zacynthus ran below par in soft ground on his latest start but went close in a higher grade than this at Ayr before that.
