There isn't much to get excited about in this opener as Ostaadi, disappointing when favourite at Wincanton last time, has had plenty of chances, as has Cartmel runner-up Murfreesboro. Hill Forts Gloria, Kings Equity and Carhue Princess are also exposed, while Stir On The Sea has been off the track since finishing second in a seller at Exeter in March. DREAM SPINNER won over 1m6f on the Flat for John Dunlop around this time last year but his career has taken several steps backwards since. However, this is his first appearance in a handicap over hurdles and it may just spark a revival. Charmeur, another lightly-raced four-year-old, is also worth a second look.
