Verdict

Lovely Job has been consistent and comes into the race with winning form but this may not be enough of a stamina test for him. Mahlers Star drops back in trip after disappointing at Worcester but though this distance may be more to his liking, he has yet to win a race in 12 attempts, so BRAQUEUR D'OR looks like the answer. He has taken well to fences and created a striking impression when running away with a similar event at Stratford on Tuesday. Theo has shown some progression for his new trainer and is the pick of those making their chase debuts while Bletchley Castle is also of some interest.
