The unexposed ETHELRED (NAP) will have had plenty of schooling since trying to run out at Wincanton in April and unseating Brendan Powell. He'd only been beaten a neck at Plumpton the time before over this trip and, off the same mark, can gain compensation. Railway Storm has gone close twice over course and distance this summer but is still climbing the weights. Jayandbee was well backed following a lengthy absence at Plumpton last month but never passed a rival. He is surely better than that and Flugzeug stays well and is better handicapped than over hurdles at present. Distracted ran well over track and trip in July and also warrants a mention.
