In depth

Verdict

Templer has the form figures to land this at the expense of Ameeq and Blaebury. The selection comes form the Phillip Hobbs yard and has been running consistantly well of late without getting his head in front and this looks one of his easiest tasks to date and if putting his best foot farward he is worth siding with once more. Ameeq won back to back races last season and did get his head in front at Huntington back in September. Since then his form has suffered as a result of running at the Cheltenham and Aintree festivals. This is a big drop in grade so as long as his confidence is still in tack he holds a chance. As does Blaebury who ran well to finish fourth behind Silver Charmer at Cheltenham last time out and once again is now dropped in grade so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Templer
