In depth

Verdict

WELLS GOLD ran well in a similar large-field handicap here at the start of June when only beaten a length and a half. Lightly-raced over the past couple of years, that performance suggests sufficient ability remains intact for him to go close. Sea Of Mystery is another good chance for the Skeltons as things didn't really seem to fall into place the last day and he did well in the circumstances to fill third spot, coming home strongly. Willyegolassiego showed useful form on the Flat during the winter months and could go well if ready to roll. She's one to watch in the market as the best of her form will see her on the premises. Ilovemints and Theatre Stage are also respected.
