Verdict

BEAT THAT failed to convince when sent chasing previously by the champion trainer but it may be worth following the yard's lead here and afford him another chance. A high-class winner at Grade 1 level back in 2014 over timber, it would be pleasing if the patience of connections could be rewarded with a first chasing success in what is a very ordinary novice chase. Exxaro looks best of the Tizzard duo and the one most likely to pick up the pieces should the Henderson inmate fail to take to the larger obstacles as recent chase efforts suggest he's going to be a decent handicapper over fences. Dry Ol'party is best of the rest, all of whom have plenty to find to trouble the front two.
