There's a big field for this handicap but not a lot of strength-in-depth. Taffy Thomas is 3lb higher than when second at Bangor last month but must be in the firing-line if lasting home. McCoy rides 14-year-old It's Like That but he looks to be on a downward curve while course specialist Lord Lescribaa has been woefully out of sorts. Another course and distance winner, Health Is Wealth, can't be ruled out however. Worcester second Miller's Maverick may have stamina limitations but the lightly-raced OSCAR THE MYTH might be worth a second look near the foot of the weights. He's certainly bred to be a chaser and did win a hunter chase at Huntingdon a couple of years ago - has more scope than Qualypso D'Allier.
