In depth

Verdict

SAGREDO may be able to open his account at the fifth time of asking although the likes of Seader and Sadler's Star may be able to ask questions of him. The selection would have been expected to have fared better thus far given that he was a hundred rated horse on the level but it may just be that he's a slow learner as he's been showing steady but unspectacular improvement. Seader wouldn't have been able to hold a candle to him on the level but he's entitled to improve for his initial run over obstacles and could improve sufficiently to lay down a challenge. Sadler's Star is rated just 3lbs inferior to the selection but his mark has been steadily heading south although cheekpieces may help to arrest the decline. Equity Release should be in the mix again but he has become disappointing and we prefer the claims of Sagredo.
