Verdict

It was soft ground when SHOEGAZER won this last year and fourth The Disengager and fifth Life of The Luso weren't far behind. David Pipe's charge comes out best at the weights again, however, and looks to have primed for a repeat after a recent run here over hurdles. Twirling Magnet made the well-handicapped Pantxoa battle hard for victory at Ffos Las but is 7lb higher now and just as interesting is Billie Magern. Toubab stopped quickly last time while Kian's Delight steps out of novice company, though probably has more scope than Royale's Charter and Buck Mulligan.
