In depth

Verdict

SINGING SANDS found only the progressive Rajar, who went on to land a hat-trick, too good at Kempton last month. Ralph Beckett’s filly should go close on that form and is preferred to Gilgamesh, a likely improver with a modest debut effort at Newmarket under his belt. Opening Time and Baker Street have yet to threaten but Angel Palanas is related to a couple of winning sprinters and is preferred to Like Minds of the newcomers.
