Verdict

Blue Aegean may start favourite on the back of her debut third at Sandown, where she ran green. The Godolphin filly should certainly be thereabouts but this is a much more competitive maiden. Dancing Moon wasn't beaten far over 6f at Warwick and there was some promise in Crawford Avenue's sixth at Ascot - she'll know a lot more today. War Alert cost 270,000gns and is one of several interesting newcomers but she's likely to need further than this while the speedily-bred Rathaath hails from a yard whose two-year-olds often need a run. Richard Hughes rides Three Robins but stablemate OSAILA is given a tentative vote as she looks better drawn. Frankie Dettori's mount has a nice pedigree and was an expensive purchase. She has Group 1 entries and it will be disappointing if she doesn't show up well here.
