Verdict

This should prove to be a very competitive race with all runners having at least a distance win to their name and it is JUDD STREET who looks a likely winner ahead of Rievaulx World and Strike Up The Band. Eve Johnson-Houghton's seven-year-old was a winner off 105 in Dubai earlier in the year but last time out raced a little further back than ideal and took too long to get going in the straight but a return to more positive tactics and the inside draw should suit here. Rievaulx World has not been seen since last July. The colt is a smart sprinting juvenile and had been in impressive form before the break, making the top two in four of six starts. The draw here will suit the three-year-old and should see him make the frame. David Nicholls' Strike Up The Band has been fairly inconsistent on the dirt in Dubai recently but put in a much improved effort at Lingfield last time out. The gelding's best efforts have come on good ground and the going here should suit so this could be his chance to recapture some of his form of 2008. Of the rest course and distance winners Reverence and Haajes look most capable of posing a serious threat to the selection but market referral is advised so it's Judd Street who makes the selection for us.
