Verdict

Cool Hand Jake, Swiss Art and Highland River are all winners over this distance but it is to John Dunlop's NAIZAK we turn. The filly should have no trouble on her return to the turf and should fare well here in less experienced company. The three-year-old come from a yard who are showing good form on turf recently and she should follow suit. Her form last year was a little inconsistent but the break will have done some good and running fresh here may be of benefit. Swiss Art has been the victor at the last two attempts but a switch to turf may halt any hopes of a hat-trick for the gelding who makes his track debut here today. He should though be the selections fiercest rival if he can transfer his recent form at Southwell, to the grass. Cool Hand Jake improved to win on his third attempt and stayed on strongly last time out. He will have a much harder task here though ¿ as his last race on grass proved. He should do well here as many of the other runners are also making a return to racing across the turf. Highland River has proven himself over this distance in the past but again that was on the Polytrack so he could struggle here. As is the case for most here a market check is essential but for us Naizak looks a likely winner.
