Verdict

Bivouac looks a ready made winner of the finale although Libre is running into some form and several others come into the race in decent heart. The selection has to carry a penalty for his win over a mile at Doncaster but he'll almost certainly have to race from a higher mark in future given the ease of his success. He's run well at around this trip in the past and he can continue to improve now that he's got his head in front for the first time. Libre hasn't been beaten far on either of his last two starts and this experienced campaigner is on a decent mark on the pick of his form. Distant Pleasure comes into the reckoning as does Fossgate with Philip Robinson a notable booking. Jarvo's respected, Faith And Reason is one to note in the ring but Bivouac could leave them running for cover.
