    Verdict

BOMBINA is given the tentative vote in a highly competitive handicap with both Teeky and Ethics worth noting. The selection has top weight to carry but she has the best form in the race. She is only lightly raced and still relatively unexposed. She won on her debut as a two-year-old last season and was thought good enough to run in a Listed contest where she disappointed. She bounced back to form on her seasonal reappearance winning well at Newmarket off a mark of 70. She is five pounds higher in the ratings for that success but she looks the class act and if at her best she will be difficult to oppose. Teeky caught the eye on her return to the track finishing second to Onemix at Bath in April. She is only lightly raced and is sure to improve with experience so is added to the shortlist to run well. Ethics Girl ran a personal best at Carlisle recently finishing second to Off Chance. She is another that continues to improve with race experience so any support in the betting market should be noted. This is a very competitive race whereby luck in running will be a key factor, but Bombina looks a class above her rivals and is the preferred pick.
