Verdict

Quite competitive stuff but PRUSSIAN looks a typically progressive Mark Johnston thre-year-old. Started at a relatively low level in an all-weather maiden, she has looked a real improver in two subsequent successes and it's best to row in with the Dubai Destination filly until beaten now, despite the handicapper doing his best to check her progress. Spirit Of The Law looks the most likely to spoil the party having grabbed victory with a late thrust on heavy ground at Doncaster. That was a good effort and further improvement is almost certain. Last Shadow also merits respect after landing his maiden here last month in the style of a progressive sort, although he will need to step up considerably to trouble the aforementioned pair.
