Verdict

Number One London is 6lb higher than his victory at Goodwood in June but should still be considered and his latest run must be ignored as he hit his head coming out of the stalls. Dino Mite is difficult to evaluate after her demolition job on a very moderate field at Southwell where she made all and came home virtually alone. She's been allotted a mark of 80 which may err on the side of leniency and she is an obvious threat to all. DEFICIT has been going well in similar handicaps over the trip. It will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish and may just be good enough to come from behind the front-runners who include Late Shipment, who has gone up 8lb for his impressive all-the-way Newmarket victory.
