In depth

Verdict

A hugely-competitive affair in which several arrive at the top of their game. Be Perfect bounced back to form over this trip after disappointing at Chester. Montefeltro has been running better than form figures would suggest while Craggaknock is on a hat-trick but Gale Force will have to defy a big hike in the weights. Kinema and KARRAAR both try a new trip but it's the latter who has the greater scope so he gets the nod. William Haggas' charge proved his versatility by scoring over 1m2f at Sandown last month having ended last year with victory over 1m4f. Cinnilla caught the eye over 2m at Ascot last month and looks to be running into form and she's preferred to Leaderene, Trendsetter and Barwick of the others with Patrick O'Donnell's claim in her favour.
