Verdict

BAHIA EMERALD met all sorts of trouble when landing her maiden at Doncaster and ran very green but she has the potential to go on to better things and makes her handicap debut from a low mark. Loose Quality, who finished third, looks held. York Glory's victory came on Fibresand and his earlier runs were on Polytrack. Providing he handles turf he should go well as should Celtic Sixpence, who followed three narrow defeats with an all-the-way success in a Goodwood maiden under Paul Hanagan, who takes the ride again. Palais Glide is definitely better over 6f than the minimum trip and she's another who can get involved while Da Ponte had little chance conceding weight to the prolific Take Your Partner at Wolverhampton.
