Navajo War Dance ran well on a couple of occasions last year but disappointed on his final start at Haydock and has raced mainly on ground with some give so far. Kuantan was second over course and distance on his debut but then ran poorly at Windsor when finishing behind Patent, who shaped with promise. Azizaan is preferred to Cliff Edge of Roger Varian's two runners while Blair House and Staunch are both by Pivotal and related to plenty of winners. MOKHALAD cost 500,000gns is a half-brother to several smart performers over a variety of distances. This looks a good starting point for Sir Michael Stoute's Dubawi colt and he gets the nod, even though Daafik wears his owner's first colours.
