With the stalls on the stand side, it may prove beneficial to be drawn high. Bonne De Fleur, Under My Spell and Lucayan Beauty look some of the more likely candidates, with the latter getting the vote. Brian Meehan's filly has taken on some useful performers in maidens including subsequent Molecomb winner Majestic Missile at Kempton. However, it was her last run behind the well-regarded Snow Goose that really caught the eye, as she had to do her racing up the centre of the course that day, when most of the pace was more towards the stands' side. She doesn't appear too badly treated on this first venture into Nursery company, and with Darryll Holland an added bonus, she looks the one to be with. Under My Spell has faced some of the best juveniles around and will have been freshened up by a break since flopping on soft ground at Ponterfract. While she will be more at home on this quicker surface, it will be a surprise if there isn't something to beat her on these terms. Bonne De Fleur took a while to grasp what was required at Beverley and can only improve for the step up in trip, while Summer Magic is almost certainly capable of better than she showed when getting off the mark at Thirsk. Hello Roberto has more to do than when winning a claimer at Beverley, but the first-time visored Tonto may be capable of improvement and is another who will appreciate this quicker ground, having found the rain softened surface against him at Newmarket. He isn't out of this despite having to give weight away all round, but Lucayan Beauty's form is solid and she gets the vote in a competitive opener.
