In depth

Verdict

A nursery with the usual element of guesswork about improvement required and we are prepared to chance Red against Always Best and Love Brothers. Seb Sanders does seem to have a knack of getting the best out of his juvenile rides and the daughter of Fraam caught the eye when finishing second to The Illies at Bath. Connections would be keen to avoid overnight rain. Always Best recently finished second to Mastership at Redcar. Mark Johnston's representative has definite signs of ability but also has an unfortunate knack of hanging badly under pressure when it matters most. Love Brothers has to be respected at this level despite one or two modest performances and any overnight rain would help. Revisionist was highly tried although connections now seem to have accepted that nurseries are her level and the market watched. Musical Award has a chance on a line of Beverley form with Mastership and any market confidence is noted. Red gets a tentative vote in acceptance that there are plenty of runners open to improvement.
