In depth

Verdict

TORCH has been mixing it in handicap company and went close to scoring at Newbury last time. Rated 81, he should be beating Silhouette on these terms and opening his account. Best Laid Plans looks a threat having posted an improved effort to finish second at Yarmouth recently. But the others with experience have shown nothing so far which leaves the newcomers and Loveable Helen, a half-sister to the useful Masterpaver, makes most appeal of them ahead of Casablanca.
